After this, bow to the mother earth and take a pledge to sit on a pedestal and worship Ganga water in hand. Take a water-filled Kalash which should be placed near the rice with Lakshmi.

Put a molly on the Kalash and place the mango Pallava above it. Also keep betel nut, Durva, Akshat, coin. Place coconut on this Kalash. Wrap the coconut in red cloth in such a way that its face is visible.

This Kalash is the symbol of Varuna. First of all worship Ganesha Ji. Then worship Lakshmi Ji. Also worship Goddess Saraswati, Lord Vishnu, Mother Kali, and Kubera.

During worship, 11 or 21 small mustard oil lamps and one big lamp should be lit. Offer flowers, letters, water, and sweets to the Lord. Finally, perform aarti of Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi and offer puja by offering Bhog.
